RE: PICT Announces General Availability of NewOrg 1.5.
The Public Interest Computer & Technology Cooperative, Inc. today announced that NewOrg Management Center 1.5, its online database system for Not For Profit Organizations, was provided to all current NewOrg customers.
The new release builds on the extensive functionality of the NewOrg platform and adds enhanced reporting tools, new donor management features, additional customization wizards, support for the Florida DCF One Family file formats, and more comprehensive timesheet and payroll workflow.
"This release was focused on increasing the depth of the NewOrg System to allow organizations a single point of entry for all of their operational data. By building on NewOrg's extensive client and donor management features, and extending the scheduling and service into the area of payroll and timesheet management, NewOrg 1.5 allows users and their departments to track time, services, and efforts all in one place. The reduction in data entry duplication and streamlining of processes will have direct and immediate impact on our customer's operations." said PICT's President, David Crouch.
The new software also provides real time integration with Microsoft Exchange, allowing users to use Microsoft Outlook to view contact info and shared calendars stored in NewOrg.
