Events Tab / Bulk Update:
The "Events" tab is primarily a calendar view of what events you as a user have. You can though filter the calendar to see all sorts of event calendar options. The other main use is access to the "Bulk Update" that gives you the ability to update multiple events at once if given privilege permission.
